Campus HistorySouth Belt Elementary was constructed in 2009 to accommodate the population growth in the South Belt area. The campus is located at 1801 Riverstone Ranch in Houston and currently serves around 600 students in prekindergarten through fourth grade. In 2018, as part of a district partnership with Region 4 Education Service Center, South Belt housed the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. The program offered specialized support for hearing impaired students. In 2019, South Belt Elementary was one of the first elementaries in Pasadena ISD to install the Lü interactive playground for its students.
